Pakistan’s First Locally Assembled Hybrid SUV: Haval H6 HEV Set to Launch on 16 August 2025
GWM Pakistan, through Sazgar Engineering, has officially opened pre-bookings for the Haval H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), with a booking fee of Rs. 1.9 million. Scheduled for launch on 16 August 2025, the H6 HEV will become the first locally assembled hybrid SUV in Pakistan, marking a significant milestone in the country’s automotive industry.
Enhanced Dimensions and Spacious Interior
The 2025 facelifted Haval H6 HEV is slightly larger than its predecessor, adding 50 millimeters in length for a total of 4,703 millimeters. Its width measures 1,886 millimeters and height 1,730 millimeters, with a wheelbase of 2,738 millimeters. These updates improve rear-seat comfort and expand cargo capacity, positioning the H6 HEV as a practical mid-size SUV for both urban commuting and long-distance travel.
The ex-factory price is set at Rs. 11.749 million, though on-road costs may increase due to the recent GST hike from 8.5% to 18%, potentially impacting the final purchase price for consumers.
Performance and Efficiency
The Haval H6 HEV has already garnered attention in regional markets for its efficiency. In ASEAN tests, the SUV covered 1,242 kilometers on a single tank, a record for hybrid SUVs in the region. This performance underscores its fuel efficiency and long-range capability, features that are particularly appealing in Pakistan’s rising fuel price environment.
By combining local assembly with hybrid technology, the Haval H6 HEV offers Pakistani consumers a modern, eco-friendly alternative in the mid-size SUV segment. The launch is expected to generate strong interest among buyers seeking both performance and sustainability in their next vehicle.
